GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps. Draw a square which will act as the frame of the deer portrait.
STEP 1. Outline the general shape of the head and the upper body of the deer.
STEP 2. Sketch the ears and eyes. Erase inner lines of the head.
STEP 3. Detail the corns. Add the nose. Work on the whole figure.
STEP 4. Add more details to the eyes, ears and corns.
STEP 5. Add pupils. Detail the muzzle.
STEP 6. Erase redundant lines.
STEP 7. Color the eyes, the ears and the upper body of the deer.
