GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps. Draw a square which will act as the frame of the tiger portrait.
STEP 1. Outline the general shape of the head and the upper body of the tiger.
STEP 2. Sketch the eyes and the muzzle of the tiger.
STEP 3. Sketch the ears. Refine the shape of eyes. Add the nose. Erase redundant lines.
STEP 4. Detail the ears and the eyes. Add the mouth.
STEP 5. Add the stripes and whiskers. Detail the nostrils.
STEP 6. Color the tiger's stripes. Erase all guidelines.
