GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps. Draw a square which will act as the frame of the squirrel portrait.
STEP 1. Outline the general shape of the head and the upper body of the squirrel.
STEP 2. Sketch the ears. Detail the upper body. Erase inner lines of the head.
STEP 3. Detail the ears. Sketch the eyes and the nose.
STEP 4. Detail the eyes and mouth. Erase redundant lines.
STEP 5. Work on the whole figure of the squirrel, adding more details to the eyes and teeth.
