GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps. Draw a square which will act as the frame of the otter portrait.
STEP 1. Outline the general shape of the head and the upper body of the otter. Sketch the eyes and the muzzle.
STEP 2. Add the ears, nose and mouth.
STEP 3. Detail the eyes. Erase redundant lines.
STEP 4. Detail the ears. Add eyebrows.
STEP 5. Add eye pupils and whiskers.
STEP 6. Color the eyes and the nose. Erase all guidelines.
