GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps. Draw a square which will act as the frame of the lion portrait.
STEP 1. Outline the general shape of the head and the upper body of the lion. Sketch the eyes and the face.
STEP 2. Add the ears, the nose and the mouth. Detail the eyes. Erase redundant lines.
STEP 3. Draw the lion's mane by refining the borderline of the head and the face.
