GRID STEP. You can print out the base construction lines and start drawing on tracing paper or you can draw the grid layout yourself using the following steps. Draw a square which will act as the frame of the bear portrait.
STEP 1. Outline the general shape of the head and the upper body of the bear. Sketch the eyes and the face.
STEP 2. Add ears and a nose. Detail eyes. Sketch a bow tie.
STEP 3. Refine the shapes of the ears by adding inner lines and erasing redundant ones. Draw a mouth. Detail the bow tie.
STEP 4. Add more details to the eyes and to the mouth. Erase all redundant lines.
